Do I need a CCTV installer to install your equipment?

This will depend on the size and complexity of the installation and your DIY skills.

If you are buying a CCTV system for a home or general business premises, and you or somebody who can assist you, has basic DIY knowledge (using drills, running cables, fitting brackets etc...), then you should not need a CCTV installer.

However if your requirements require specialist equipment, are for a very large premises, involve a complicated or hazardous installation or you simply don't have the time, then we recommend using a CCTV Installer. For details of your nearest CCTV installer please contact us.

Is your CCTV equipment the same as a CCTV installer would supply me?

The equipment we supply is the same as that available from professional CCTV installers. Our parent company Y3K has been supplying high quality CCTV, Security and Safety equipment to installers, wholesalers and distributors for over 20 years.   

How can you help me choose, install and setup a CCTV system?

The important part is that you choose the right equipment for your requirements and it is all working correctly. Broadly speaking the purchase and successful installation of your CCTV will involve the following 3 stages (and we are here to help you at each stage):

    1. CHOOSE:
      Contact us with your requirements, we will then help you choose the equipment you need, recommend the best locations for the cameras, and ensure you have all the cables and accessories needed. We can even use Google Earth or book a Video Call with you to remotely visit your premises.  
    2. INSTALL:
      When you receive your equipment, install it in the desired locations and run the cables and plug everything together.
    3. SETUP:
      Follow the instructions provided to set it all up, or use our helpful video guides on YouTube, and check everything is working correctly. If you need any assistance, simply arrange a call with our technical support team who will call you and guide you through what you need to do. They can even access your system remotely and help you set it up.
